MACMUN 2027
The MACMUN traveling team is a group of delegates from McMaster University who compete at other collegiate model UN conferences across North American universities. During the 2026/2027 school year, we are planning to compete at UPMUNC (University of Pennsylvania), METMUN (Toronto Metropolitan University), NCSC (Georgetown University), 305MUN (University of Miami), NAMUN (University of Toronto), McMUN (McGill University), HNMUN (Harvard University), MACMUN (McMaster University), and ChoMUN (University of Chicago). If you wish to join next year’s traveling team, keep an eye on our instagram (@macmodelun) for the application! We will open another round of applications in early September.
It is expected that delegates wear western business attire (WBA) to MACMUN 2027. This is a typical attire for MUN conferences. However delegates who are unable to participate in WBA will not be penalized and should not hesitate from participating in MACMUN 2027.
When you have been given your committee assignment, read through your background guide. It will have all the information that you must know before the conference begins. Additionally, check out our resources page for further guides to help you succeed at model un!
MACMUN 2027 will be at McMaster university, 1280 Main Street West Hamilton, Ontario. The campus is accessible by public transit and by car. There is a go bus stop right on campus! It is serviced by routes: 15, 41, 47, and 17 (weekdays only). The closest go train stop is Aldershot, from which you can take a short ride on the 15 to get to campus. MACMUN 2027 is open to both high school and university students. More details are to follow regarding committee types and equity/fairness.
