The UNICEF Committee at MACMUN 2026 will explore how international actors can better protect and empower children worldwide. This year, we will focus on two pertinent issues: child trafficking and education quality in underfunded areas. Delegates will examine and discuss immediate humanitarian needs as well as long-term development goals. This committee challenges participants to create innovative and realistic solutions to strengthen cooperation across all countries and promote equitable outcomes for all children.

McMaster sits on the traditional territory shared between the Haudenosaunee confederacy and the Anishinabe nations, which was acknowledged in the Dish with One Spoon wampum belt. That wampum uses the symbolism of a dish to represent the territory, and one spoon to represent that the people are to share the resources of the land and only take what they need.
